Whether it’s fiction or non-fiction, the first thing readers see when they open a book is its design: from the front cover to the back page blurb, and all the pages between, a well-designed and properly typeset book will help to sell you and your products and services to your target customer. The last thing you need is the wrong copyright details, chapter heads in different fonts, headers and footers poorly positioned… you get the picture.
What we do for your book
We’ll take your manuscript (shame on you that you didn’t get me to ghostwrite it for you!) and ensure that it looks and ‘feels’ exactly how you want it to. We’ll discuss book size, chapter heads, page-numbering, and so on and so forth with you. Working from a questionnaire that covers everything needed during the formatting process, we’ll get your book in tip top condition and ready for the printer.
If you plan to self-publish through Createspace (the world’s largest print-on-demand publishing service and part of the Amazon group of companies), you’ll also receive a step-by-step guide from us to help you upload your book.
Upon proofing your copy, I allow for two rounds of formatting revisions (included in my pricing) to enable you to fine-tune your book. Once you are satisfied with the hard-copy version, I will then reformat the book for Kindle publication, which will include a ‘clickable’ table of contents. Again, Kindle eBooks have a majority market position within the eBook sector, which is taking an ever larger slice of book sales globally.
Your finished product
Your self-published book, correctly formatted for both paperback and Kindle publication. Your book, your way: without the hassle, time, and frustration of doing it yourself.
